Location
Farrar Sod Farm is located in South-Central Virginia. We are about 80 miles south of Richmond, VA and 70 miles north of Raleigh, NC. This area holds some of the richest and most fertile farmlands in Virginia, and it provides us with the perfect conditions and environment for growing a variety of cool and warm season turf grasses. For years this land grew tobacco and the grass was the enemy. We decided to switch rather than fight. While our grass can be addictive, it's in a much healthier way!
